The Hydrologic Sciences program focuses on quantitative studies of water in the environment including its role in geologic and biogeochemical processes, ecosystem functions, and global elemental cycling. We offer an interdisciplinary and interdepartmental Graduate Certificate in Hydrologic Sciences for science and engineering graduate students enrolled at the University of Colorado at Boulder. We also offer a Hydrologic Sciences sub-plan to PhD students in participating departments at CU. Students may apply to the Hydrologic Sciences program either concurrently or after admission to one of our participating departments (Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Environmental Studies, Geography, or Geological Scienced).
