Outreach Highlight

Dance Outreach

CU Contemporary Dance Works is a touring company that offers annual one-week residencies in Colorado communities that are underserved in the arts. In May 2015 the company, which is composed of dance MFA candidates, was in residence in and around the communities of Cedaredge, Delta, Hotchkiss and Paonia.

Environmental Outreach

Environmental engineering faculty and students are investigating the flow paths of water into and out of the Golden Fleece Mine in an effort to prevent acid mine drainage from contaminating lake San Cristobal, the second largest natural lake in Colorado and a major recreational and drinking water resource.

Low Cost Legal Services

Law students are providing low- or no-cost legal assistance and educational materials to Colorado's Acequia Communities along the southernmost part of Colorado, where water is distributed and shared equally.
