University of Colorado at Boulder

Welcome to CU Women's Softball

The CU Women's Softball team had a very successful 2010 season! Our record was 10-8 with a conference record of 7-5. We won the At-Large bid of the National Club Softball Association in March and qualified for the World Series in Colombus, Georgia April 15th-17th. We competed against club teams from across the country; our pool included the University of Georgia, Ohio State Universty, and James Madison University. We made it into the Elite Eight during bracket play, knocking out the University of Pittsburgh in an amazing game. We eventually lost to the University of Georgia in the bottom of the 7th inning by one heartbreaking run.

  • Our Fall 2010 season kicks off against the University of Wyoming on October 2nd. We recently welcomed two new teams into the Mid America West conference, making qualifying for the World Series an even tougher task. But, we have recruited a great group of freshman and have solid upperclassmen returners. Watch this space for CU Softball in 2010!
