Professor Robert Geyer is a member of the Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion and the incoming Academic Director (International) at Lancaster University. He has been working on applying complexity thinking to public policy and issue of Europeanisation for the past 20 years. His key books include: Handbook on Complexity and Policy (2015), Complexity, Science and Society (2007), Integrating UK and European Social Policy (2005), Exploring European Social Policy (2000) and Globalization, Europeanization and the End of Scandinavian Social Democracy (2000). He has published articles on complexity, Europeanisation, international relations, health policy, education policy, drug policy, diabetes management and political theory.
