Homecoming weekend - Come join the fun for Homecoming weekend Oct. 3 - 4, 2008. This year's theme is "Go for the Gold" in honor of CU's Olympians and Paralympians who competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, as well as in all previous Olympic Games. Homecoming festivities begin Wednesday, October 1, with a new "Ultimate Fan" competition at CU's Old Main chapel and end Sunday, October 5, with a community cleanup at several city locations. Family Weekend - Join us on October 17, 18 and 19, 2008 for our annual Family Weekend. On-line registration remains open and amenities include a campus parking pass for Friday, map and information packet, discount coupon book for the bookstore, unlimited weekend use of the Student Recreation Center, and a free Friday night residence hall dinner with your student.
Tickets are still available to attend a CU Football (Oct. 18, 5:00 p.m.) or Volleyball game (Oct. 18, time TBD) through the athletic ticket office (we are sold out of our family weekend discount tickets). While attending the football game you can support a worthy cause by donating warm clothing to our Winter Coat Drive. Donation stations will run from 2-5:30 p.m. and will be located at: Duane Physics Building, Carlson Gymnasium, Franklin Field, Franklin Drive, Math Building and Parking Lot 360 (Across from Gates 4/5).
CU is Coming to a City Near You - These events are a wonderful opportunity for parents to hear, first hand, about what's happening on campus, ask questions, meet other parents from your area, and become involved in the university.
Orientation Dinners - Each summer these enjoyable and relaxing dinners acquaint parents of new students with CUPA and Division of Student Affairs staff. Join us this summer!
