The division recruits faculty, deans, and other academic leaders, and allocates resources to ensure high-quality teaching, research and creative work, and service.

The Senior Vice Chancellor Division includes the offices of the Vice Chancellor for Administration, Associate Vice Chancellor for Budget and Finance, and the Associate Vice Chancellor for Strategic Communications.

Working with faculty, students, and staff, this unit administers graduate student fellowships, supports interdisciplinary graduate education through new programs and certificates, and works with the alumni and the community to both expand resources and to match research and graduate education offerings with the needs of the 21st century workforce.
