Get Started: Portal Publishing in CUConnect

	The student portal was a key objective of the IT Strategic Plan
	CUConnect for students was launched in January 2004
	Work is underway on CUConnect for faculty and staff

CUConnect, the CU-Boulder portal, is now in use by current students, and will be available for faculty and staff in 2005. To get started, follow these steps:

Step 1: Learn About CUConnect

Though a login is required to use the portal, anyone can preview CUConnect by viewing the demo:

Step 2: Create Custom Information

CUConnect users can customize their view of CUConnect by changing their user preferences and by adding, moving, or removing channels (features). See "My Settings" and "Help" on CUConnect:

University units can communicate information tailored to specific audiences through CUConnect News Channels:
