Get Started: Web Sites for Faculty and Staff
CU-Boulder provides space for faculty and staff who want to create personal
web pages. To get started, follow these steps: Your personal site will be located on spot.colorado.edu. If you don't have a CU-Boulder e-mail account, you will need to create one: For information on departmental sites, see Getting Started: University Web Sites. Step 2: Create Your Site If you already have a CU-Boulder e-mail account, you can learn more about creating a personal web site by reviewing this guide from ITS: You can also browse Web Central for more information on campus services and web publishing resources: Step 3: Know the Policies Web Central lists policies, standards, and key issues web publishers need to be aware of.
Step 4: Get Your Site Listed Your web site on spot.colorado.edu will automatically be listed in the online directory ("people") search. Step 5: If You Need More Help . . . If you have questions that are not answered here, contact the IT Service Center.
