Directions from Denver International Airport (DIA)
Driving time between DIA and Boulder is approximately 60 to 90 minutes. From DIA, follow Peña Boulevard (10 miles) south to I-70, and exit onto I-70 west. Follow I-70 west to I-270 west. I-270 merges into U.S. 36 west and takes you west into Boulder (about 23 miles).

CU-Boulder is 45 minutes from the aiport by car or an hour via the SkyRide bus service, which costs $13 one way ($2.50 for CU-Boulder students)
Boulder is 30 minutes from downtown Denver, one hour from Fort Collins and Greeley, one hour and 45 minutes from Colorado Springs, five hours from Grand Junction, one hour from DIA.
Getting around town
A popular way for students to get around. Easily explore the area on one of RTD's local buses or the university's Stampede and Buff Bus.
Do as the Boulderites do and explore one of the most bike-friendly cities in America on two wheels. Rent bikes from one of the many shops around town.
The best way to take in our beautiful city is on foot. Stroll across campus, walk the Boulder Creek Path or enjoy one of our open-air malls.
You can also take advantage of other transportation options such as carshare, carpools and a gaurenteed ride home program.
