The Division of Administration develops and maintains the infrastructure of the university so that CU-Boulder's mission of teaching, research, and service can be fulfilled. The Vice Chancellor for Administration oversees all capital development and construction, facilities management, environmental health and safety, emergency management, the campus police department, parking and transportation, and the campus book store.

New Director of Environmental Health & Safety : Vice Chancellor Steven Thweatt has announced that Brandon Boger will serve as the new Director of Environmental Health and Safety. Environmental Health and Safety provides comprehensive services and support to the university by ensuring regulatory compliance as well as recognizing and controlling health and safety hazards for campus laboratories, work areas, and classrooms. Boger will begin his role as director April 13, 2015. He has been serving as interim director since July 1, 2014.
New Deputy Chief of Support Services : CU-Boulder Police Chief, Melissa Zak, has announced Ken Koch as the new Deputy Chief of Support Services. Ken Koch joins the CUPD team bringing a thirty year military and law enforcement professional career. He has a depth of experience in fields such as critical incident / terrorism training, criminal investigations, undercover narcotics, task force supervision, hostage negotiations and other critical incident response disciplines. We welcome Deputy Chief Koch to the CU-Boulder campus. He will start December 15, 2014.
Capital Asset Management Plan Announced : The Capital Asset Management Plan (CAMP) refers to three concurrent multi-year initiatives to enhance and improve CU-Boulder’s physical assets on campus--Space Utilization And Optimization, Capital Renewal and Renovation, and Energy Performance Contracting.
