The Division of Administration develops and maintains the infrastructure of the university so that CU-Boulder's mission of teaching, research, and service can be fulfilled. The Vice Chancellor for Administration oversees all capital development and construction, facilities management, human resources, parking and transportation, environmental health and safety, emergency management, the university's police department, and the campus book store.

New Assistant Vice Chancellor : Vice Chancellor for Administration Steven Thweatt has named David Danielson as the new Assistant Vice Chancellor for Facilities Management, effective August 1st. Danielson was hired as the Director of Facilities Operations in September of 2012 and has been serving as the Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor for Facilities Management since March 15th.
New Vice Chancellor for Administration : University of Colorado Boulder Senior Vice Chancellor and Chief Financial Officer Kelly Fox has named Steve Thweatt as the new Vice Chancellor for Administration, effective July 1, 2014. Thweatt has been serving as interim vice chancellor since March.
