Graphic Standards and Guidelines

Just as the Boulder campus's beauty is enhanced by a unified but flexible architectural design, so can our visual identity help unify and express the campus’s mission. This site provides links to graphics standards and editorial guidelines to assist campus professionals in creating communications that present a clear and memorable images of CU-Boulder. The campus follows graphic standards established by the CU System, along with visual print and web identity guidelines customized for the needs of the Boulder campus. The editorial style guide is a reference document to help communicators adopt a style that is consistent and appropriate for university use.

Visual Identity Guidelines for Print. (pdf) Refer to this guide for correct usage of the Boulder campus wordmark on all print publications. Also includes information on use of other official CU marks (i.e. university seal, CU lettermark, and athletics logo).

Web Identity Standards. This guide provides information on templates that are available to assist campus web developers with integrating the campus web identity, and outlines elements required for custom designs.
