CU-Boulder a leading host of Brazilian ‘Scientific Mobility’ students

The University of Colorado Boulder shares the No. 3 rank among 238 higher education institutions in the nation for hosting students of Brazil’s Scientific Mobility Undergraduate Program.

The data, released last month by the Institute of International Education, or IIE, shows that CU-Boulder is home to 32 students through the program. Iowa State University also is hosting 32 students.

Multi-discipline research makes a big impact

Liz Bradley is a great professor because she loved being a student. The computer science professor graduated from MIT with three degrees, a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D., in electrical engineering and computer science. And, while earning these degrees would be more than enough to earn bragging rights, Bradley earned her two graduate degrees while training as an Olympic rower. She took fifth place in the 1988 Olympic Games.
