After a five-year absence, the weeklong game of Humans vs. Zombies will be held across the CU Boulder campus starting Monday, March 20, through Friday, March 24.

CU's Humans vs. Zombies (HvZ) club is once again launching a campus-wide game that features "human" players avoiding being tagged, or "zombified," by zombie players, both of which will be marked by bandanas.

Human players deal with zombie players by stunning them and running from them. In accordance with CU's policies regarding replica weapons, players will be able to use socks, marshmallow shooters and blowguns on campus, but several off-campus missions during the week will allow players to use Nerf gear.

As per tradition, the week of zombie fun will finish with a lock-in game held at night in CU's Engineering Center.

According to a recent post on the HvZ Facebook page, the upcoming event has seen record participant registration but is still only one-fifth of the way to their total player cap.

Visit the HvZ website for more information and to register.
