The College of Media, Communication and Information at the University of Colorado Boulder is hosting an immersive coding workshop for those interested in learning the building blocks of web design. Whether you're a beginner who wants to get started in web development, a designer looking to hand-code their concepts, or a journalist who wants to start building a portfolio to showcase your work, we can assist you.

In this hands-on introductory workshop, we’ll learn about web development and how the web works. We’ll go over key coding terminology and principles, introduce languages like HTML and CSS, discuss what their functions are and how they work together. Attendees will use that new knowledge to write our own code and develop a simple portfolio site. Lunches will be provided as part of the registration. Registration is $30 for students, $40 for non-students.

Learn more and register at the workshop webpage.
