A hand holds a sign that reads "new employees"

Human Resources-Organizational and Employee Development is launching a new, comprehensive year-long onboarding program for new employees. The goals of the program are to help new employees reach higher levels of productivity faster; to understand what it means to work in an institution of higher education; become knowledgeable of the organizational structure, governance, initiatives and policies of the campus and the CU System; and come to know the history, values, and institutional excellence that is CU Boulder.

Features of our newly designed program include a day-long New Employee Welcome Experience; web-based employee onboarding tools and resources for new employees, supervisors and HR Liaisons (PPL’s); and a series of lunch-and-learn seminars to be available to new employees during their first year of employment.

Managers, supervisors and HR liaisons are invited to attend a 45 minute, in-person briefing where we will present an overview of the program and help you understand your role and responsibilities in working with new employees.

Attendees will leave the briefing session with an understanding of what HR-OED will provide and what is expected of them to support the year-long onboarding of new employees.
