From Governor Hickenlooper: Thank you for your public service

Published: May 16, 2013

Each year since 1985, the U.S. Congress designates the first full week of May as Public Service Recognition Week – time set aside to honor public employees and to educate the public about the many ways government workers make life better for all Americans. It is an opportunity for us to recognize all State employees and express appreciation for one another in our commitment to serve the people of Colorado.

To celebrate the important contributions of our State employees, each department was asked to select a single employee to honor for their demonstration of superior service to the people of Colorado through the three E’s: Efficient, Effective and Elegant. Congratulations and thanks to each of them.

We also want to thank YOU. Please click on the video below to hear a personal message recorded to thank you for all you do each and every day.

Thank you to Boulder Campus Staff Council for sharing this message and video.
