CU-Boulder welcomes class of 2017 with Admitted Student Day

Published: April 8, 2013

On Saturday April 6, thousands of bright and eager incoming freshmen and their families arrived on the University of Colorado Boulder campus for Admitted Student Day. The day consists of information sessions, open houses, tours, receptions and an information fair.

“CU is so beautiful and I liked all the programs and opportunities,”  said incoming freshman Erin Berry.

Throughout the day, Berry and other admitted students had the chance to meet with various CU-Boulder faculty, staff and students to learn how to take advantage of the many opportunities available to them. With various local offers and discounts around town, admitted students and their families also were encouraged to get out on the town and see the city of Boulder.

“I wanted to get away from home and Boulder is just a cool place to live, especially in college,” said incoming freshman Brooks Emery from Delaware.

Between the many opportunities CU-Boulder has to offer and the beautiful Boulder scenery, many admitted students said they can’t wait for August to start college life at CU-Boulder.
