People attending the University of Colorado Boulder commencement ceremony on Friday, May 11, at 8:30 a.m. at Folsom Field will join a projected crowd of about 20,000 and should plan to arrive early to avoid traffic congestion.

Stadium gates will open at 7 a.m. for seating. No tickets are required for the ceremony, which will be held at Folsom Field regardless of the weather. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held in abbreviated form.

Guests are asked to not bring large purses or bags to the ceremony. People entering the stadium may be subject to search.

The majority of parking will be available off Regent Drive. Parking attendants will be on hand to direct traffic to available lots in the area. Parking meters and pay stations on campus are free the day of commencement, with the exception of the Euclid Avenue Autopark, which will require payment all day.

More information about CU-Boulder commencement parking is available at http://commencement.colorado.edu/ceremonies/spring/parking/.
