University of Colorado at Boulder officials are urging CU students and other fans to arrive early for Saturday's football game between CU and Georgia at Folsom Field, and to be on their best behavior.

Game time is 5 p.m., and stadium gates will open at 3:30 p.m. Fans are asked to arrive as early as possible to help improve traffic and crowd flow into the stadium.

"I am encouraging our fans to have a safe and enjoyable time at the game this Saturday," said CU-Boulder Chancellor Philip DiStefano. "However, I want to remind all Buff fans to show their enthusiasm in a responsible and respectable way. Let's be good hosts and considerate fans, and everyone be safe before, during and after the game."

CU police, local law enforcement and security staff will be on the lookout for intoxicated fans attending tailgate parties or trying to enter the stadium. Visibly intoxicated people will be denied admission to the stadium and those who are visibly intoxicated inside the stadium will be ejected.

Underage persons caught with alcohol also will be ejected and issued summonses for "minor in possession." CU-Boulder students who are issued alcohol summonses also face disciplinary action by the university, and all student conduct on and off campus is subject to CU's Student Code of Conduct.
