The University Libraries at CU-Boulder have announced holiday closures, extended study hours for final exam week and intersession hours between the fall and spring semesters.

For Thanksgiving, Norlin and the branch libraries will close at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 26, and reopen Friday, Nov. 28. Hours for the remainder of the holiday weekend will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 28 and Nov. 29, and noon to midnight Nov. 30.

Following are other changes to the libraries’ schedule:

• The libraries will be closed Dec. 21 through Dec. 28 and Jan. 1

• During reading days and finals week, the libraries will feature extended hours: Dec. 11 through Dec. 18 -- 7:30 a.m. to 3 a.m.; Dec. 19 (last day of finals) 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• For commencement day: Dec. 20 -- noon to 5 p.m.

• Intersession hours: Dec. 29 through Dec. 31, and Jan. 2 through Jan. 10

Monday -- Friday -- 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday -- noon to 5 p.m.

Sunday -- closed

• Sunday, Jan. 11, the day before spring semester classes begin, the library will be open from noon to 5 p.m.

Intersession hours at the branch libraries may vary. Patrons are urged to call the appropriate location for verification.
