Several undergraduate students at the University of Colorado at Boulder have received diversity scholarships to study in other countries.
Two diversity scholarships, one awarded by CU-Boulder and the other by the Colorado Commission on Higher Education, help cover expenses in the Study Abroad program for Colorado residents who are underrepresented on the Boulder campus because they are ethnic minorities or from the states rural areas.

Vien Tran, CU-Boulder Diversity Scholarship, $1,000, Hanoi, Vietnam, spring 1997, psychology and political science. Tran also received a travel grant from the Council on International Educational Exchange.
