Whether you are looking to attend a Rockies game with other Denver-area young alumni, want to join your fellow Forever Buffs for a watch party in New York City, plan to tour California’s wine country or want to connect with an alumni-specific career counselor, we’ve got something for every CU young alum! And the best part is, with the Alumni Association’s Forever Buffs initiative, you'll never have to pay membership dues!

Want to be even more involved? Join our CU Young Alumni chapter or find your local Chapter or Club if you leave Colorado. We can help with your job search too, just check out our free Career Services programs. Buffalo Legacy

When a family makes it a tradition to attend CU Boulder, it's something to celebrate. The Alumni Association's Buffalo Legacy program honors students, parents and grandparents who share the bond of being Buffs.

Buffalo Legacy Cord

Graduating legacy students receive a free cord to wear during commencement to celebrate their family’s commitment to CU Boulder. Cord pick-up will be available at the Koenig Alumni Center.

Buffalo Legacy Scholarships

Each year the Alumni Association awards scholarships to incoming freshmen and continuing students that meet the legacy requirement of having a parent or grandparent that also attended CU Boulder. You can learn more and apply for the scholarship online.

Local chapters host a variety of events including CU watch parties at the best local venues. As an alum, get involved by recruiting top students in your area or participating in volunteer opportunities with other Buffs. 

If you are moving to a new area, make sure to look up your local chapter for advice on anything from where to live to the greatest local coffee.
