------------------------------------------------------

We are looking for new works for our second season of Nexus, the CU Dance Division and Boulder/Denver Community Dance Concert. Through Nexus, we seek to establish and deepen ties between the university and the larger community, sharing an evening of dance that integrates various styles of work and presents a broad spectrum of talents from our area and university students. We are requesting submissions for works to be adjudicated by the esteemed panel of: Letitia Williams, Marda Kern, and Gabriel Masson. DVDs of complete works, 10 minutes max in length, due Dec.1, will be reviewed by our panel on Dec. 6th. Dance for the Camera works are welcome this year, however, due to technical limitations, works included live dance and video will not be accepted.

If selected for this year's concert on March 12th-15th, your work will be fully produced in the Irey Theatre and promoted by CU 's Dance Division. Along with the having your work presented alongside other exciting artists and in front of new audiences, a choreographer's stipend of $150 will be awarded.

Important dates for submission:

• Dec. 1st: dvd and choreographer info sheet, submit to Rachael Harding, Nexus Concert Assistant Director, Department of Theatre & Dance, 261 UCB, University of Colorado, Boulder CO 80309-0261
DVDs need not be of performers who will dance in the March show. You may submit multiple works (max 3) but only one piece per choreographer will be selected. Maximum 10 mins each work.
• Dec. 6th: Adjudication panel reviews dvds
• Dec. 8th: Notification letters mailed, along with important technical dates for selected choreographers to confirm
• Jan. 16th: Choreographer's acceptance of selection, signed agreement stating that you and your dancers will be able to attend all dress and tech rehearsals and performances
• March: tech week March 6th-8th (exact details TBA), performance March 12th-15th
We look forward to dancing with you! Please e-mail Rachael Harding at Rachael.ashley@colorado.edu with any further questions.
