Transfer

TIP
The caller being transferred cannot hear anything while being transferred.

Your Phone
Enter your five-digit on-campus extension to see the features programmed on your multiline phone.

Transfer

Use Transfer to send a call from your extension to another on-campus extension. You can stay on the line to announce the call, or transfer the call without announcing it.

To transfer a call

Press Transfer button and listen for the dial tone.
Dial the 5-digit on-campus extension where you want to transfer the call.
If the party called answers the phone, announce that you are transferring a call and press Transfer button once more.

Or if you need to return to the caller, press the fluttering Call Appearance button.
