The University of Colorado at Boulder wants to make selecting a health plan as easy and painless for you as possible. The Wardenburg Campus Care Plan and the Student Gold Health Insurance Plan feature quality on-campus care at Wardenburg Health Center.

Please note: Because of the university’s policy of Mandatory Health Insurance Coverage, you will “default” into the Student Gold Health Insurance Plan and your tuition bill wil be charged $860 for the semester if no other selection is made by the deadline (fall 2008—September 3, 2008; spring 2009—January 21, 2009) .  (The plan you selected for fall 2008 will automatically extend to spring/summer 2009 unless actively changed.  You are billed per semester. See exceptions to automatic enrollment.)

Which plan is right for me?
Please choose the scenario that best describes you:

  “I have health insurance, but would also like on-campus care at Wardenburg.”
For students who already have health insurance, the Wardenburg Campus Care Plan covers convenient, unlimited primary care at Wardenburg Health Center for just $150/semester. Because it is not an insurance plan, proof of health insurance is required in order make this selection.

  “I need health insurance.”
The Student Gold Health Insurance Plan covers primary care and other health care services at Wardenburg Health Center for $860/semester, as well as services outside of Wardenburg.

  “No, thanks. I’m happy with the health plan I have.”
Even if you waive coverage, you can still take advantage of quality health care at Wardenburg Health Center by paying for services at the time they are rendered (Note: Wardenburg Health Center does not bill outside insurance plans). Because of the university’s mandatory policy on student health insurance, proof of health insurance is required in order to make this selection.

(This policy does not apply to students in the ACCESS, Continuing Education, Time Out, Semester at Sea, Evening MBA, and Study Abroad programs.
