What factors should I consider when choosing the Wardenburg Campus Care Plan?

  • Do you (and your spouse/domestic partner) want inexpensive, on-campus basic health care services at Wardenburg Health Center for illness or injury?
  • Are you (and your spouse/domestic partner) covered under another health insurance plan for health care outside of Wardenburg Health Center?
  • Will you be able to find a participating primary care provider (PCP) in the Boulder area if you or your family’s health insurance plan was issued elsewhere?
  • What are the deductibles for your health insurance plans (in state or out of state)?

Who is the primary care provider?
In order to provide the highest benefits available, Wardenburg Health Center is the primary care provider for the Student Health Plans. Wardenburg Health Center is accredited by the AAAHC, a national accrediting body. Wardenburg is a convenient, on-campus health care facility with medical expertise to handle your primary health care and pharmaceutical needs. The staff includes board-certified physicians (including an internist, gynecologist, and psychiatrist), nurse practitioners, and other health care professionals.
