Apple Cranberry Crisp

1 cup organic whole oats
1 cup cranberries/berries
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 concentrated juice/ honey/ barley malt syrup
1 tsp vanilla
4 apples cored and diced (peel if desired)
1/3 brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Mash cranberries with fork or potato masher. Combine organic oats and cranberries and stir until cranberries evenly mixed throughout the oats.

On stove top simmer maple syrup, concentrated juice and vanilla until warm and bubbly. Pour over oat, cranberry mixture and stir until oats thoroughly coated.

Combine apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon together. Place apple mixture in 8”x8” pan and cover apples with oat/cranberry mixture.
Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes or until apples soft and oats golden brown.
