| Volunteering with the Student Wellness Program is the best way to get involved on campus. You decide what kind of volunteering you would like to do and sign up only for those events. Have your choice from: Havens (back massage and aromatherapy), presentations on Nutrition, Smoking, Sleep, and Stress, Information Tables around campus, distributing Cold Care Kits, and working other special events. We train you for all the events, and you get to gain the experience of having worked with one of the most active student groups on campus. To be a part of the Student Wellness Program you must complete the training which is offered only once per semester. Aside from our events and training, our weekly meetings (which are mandatory) are Wednesdays from 5-6:30 at the Wesley Chapel, other than that, the hours and activities you do are up to you! You must fill out an application and do a brief interview before you can volunteer. You can pick up an application, and sign up for an interview on our door, Wardenburg 322.
Call 303-735-6433 or e-mail us at CUHealth@Colorado.edu and volunteer with us! The Next Volunteer Training will be: Friday, February 2nd, from 4 - 9pm |
