About Us

The Hiking Club provides wilderness adventure and recreation through many outdoor sports in a relaxed setting for student and community members. Our goal and objective is to bring together both seasoned and new outdoors people for exploration of the outdoors, fun, friendship, and enlightenment. Although we organize trips most weekends during the Academic semester, we are far from a guide service- rather, we bring people together through planning and carpooling to make the great outdoors more acessible. We offer free gear rental for our members, so if you don't have a pair of snowshoes yet, but want to join us this winter, have no fear!

The Hiking Club is the University of Colorado's longest running student organization. Almost every weekend we have a trip going somewhere. So, don't miss out -- come see what we're all about!
