Welcome to the Science-Fiction and Fantasy Underground!

Greetings, all scifi geeks! We are currently using ECCR 105 for our meetings, but we will occasionally be forced to meet elsewhere. Random room assignments will be announced on the emails and in big red letters on this page.

Here is the design of our 2008 t-shirt. They have arrived and you know if you ordered one. For those who didn't order one, we may have a couple unclaimed spares, so email John if you really want one (they cost some amount to be determined soon).

We meet every Saturday at 6 pm. We normally show a variety of scifi and fantasy shows (well, there aren't many fantasy shows around besides Xena, so we only really watch Sci Fi), 1 episode each week.

The current lineup is below. A list of everything we have ever watched can be found in our schedule archives.

Time Show Description
6 PM Andromeda Kevin Sorbo (aka, Hercules) was tossed 300 years in the future. He wants to rebuild his fallen Commonwealth, but mostly he and the crew pose and move in slow motion a lot. The comment light is on, so please, make fun of the show with us.
7 PM Eureka Welcome to the small town of Eureka, home of the worlds brightest scientists and engineers, where anything can (and does) happen, from mini-black holes to biogentic plagues. Now meet Jack Carter. He's the sheriff. He's not a super-genius, but he does have to save the town pretty much every week anyway.
7:30 PM The Twilight Zone Rod Serling and an ever-changing cast (watch for yet-to-be-famous actors!) alternately spin tales to amuse, to scare, or to make you think.
8:30 PM Social Half Hour We have to rest the projector or it will overheat and shut down at some critical moment in the show. Therefore we build this bit into the schedule where we actually talk to each other. PS. It really lasts an hour.
9 PM Doctor Who The Doctor (and his current companion) traverse space and time, saving the universe and having the time of his (very, very long) life.
10 PM Mini-series Slot Whatever miniseries we want to show. It varies, so suggest your favorites!

We vote on the lineup about once a semester, so feel free to suggest things for regular showings. You can find this week's schedule here complete with episode descriptions. We also hold irregularly scheduled Game Days, Marathons, cookouts and the like. You can find info about all our events on the aptly named "Events" page.
