I hope everyone's break went well and that you're all back safe and sound. The RMCRHA league will be starting up very quickly here so we have to get back to it. As always, we have our MANDATORY information meeting, which is this Thursday (1/18) in the rec center conference rooms 3 and 4. These rooms are upstairs on the east side of the building. This meeting is for anyone who wishes to play this semester INCLUDING NEW PLAYERS so please bring anyone who is at all interested. At the meeting we'll discuss things like practice schedules, tournaments, travel, etc. If for some reason you are unable to make the meeting give an email explaining yourself to either Alex: bressler@colorado.edu or CURollerhockey@gmail.com . If you have any questions please bring them to the meeting! That's it for now, I hope everyone has a good first few days of class and see you thursday.
The second tryout is going to be on Sunday Sept 24th from 5-8 at Bladium again. We sent out an email of the list of players who have paid, but if you didn't get that email make sure to email me at ebert@colorado.edu and i'll make sure to foreward it to you as well as get you on the list for future emails. So if you didn't pay last time, pay this time! (Yes I know that includes me too...) Ok that's it for now, see you guys on Sunday!
Hey all and welcome back! Hope you've all been training in the off season because we are going to jump right back into it. To all potential 2006-2007 CU Roller Hockey players:
On Sunday, April 2nd, the CU roller hockey team will be holding a practice open to all returning players, students already attending CU, students who will be transferring to CU, and high school players who intend on attending CU who are interested in playing. The practice will be held at the Bladium from 8pm - 10pm. Following the practice, there will be a short information session in which you (or your parents) can ask any questions you have about the school, the club, and college roller hockey in general.
For high school students, priority will be given to seniors as we can only accept a limited number of people into the practice. If there is room, underclassmen will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. The practice is FREE for everyone who attends.
If you are interested in attending or if you have any questions, please email Brandon Hawes at bhawes27@hotmail.com or you can call him at 303-880-1467. Be sure to include your name, contact information, and your school status (transfer student, high school senior, CU student, etc).
This is a great opportunity to learn more about college roller hockey and the CU club team. Be sure to spread the word and sign up early.
