Volunteering at a hospital or clinic is one of the best steps
any pre-health student can take! Not only do you get excellent
exposure to the real world of medicine but you also do a great
service to your community!
SAPP has listed volunteer programs with the following
providers to offer you a great opportunity for experience
in many different areas of medicine. Opportunities are currently
available in numerous areas and many of our SAPP members
are already taking advantage of these great opportunities,
you should too!
Denver
Health is one of the top level 1 trauma centers
in Colorado! Take into account they are also a "teaching"
hospital and you have a great opportunity for learning from
some of the best in medicine! Volunteer opportunities are
currently available in all areas. Some of our members are
already working in Emergency Medicine, Trauma and the Surgical
Intensive Care Unit.

touch that enriches the hospital experience for patients,
families and visitors in more than 50 different areas of
the hospital. Each year, more than 200 volunteers provide
approximately 40,000 hours of service. There are volunteer
positions for teens (14-17 years), college students, adults
