Hello! My name is Romana Popara and I am currently a junior. While I used to be a Biochemistry major, I have recently switched to MCDB and have kept my English Literature major throughout all three years. While trying to figure out what it is I like to do, I have found out a lot about the physician assistant and medical fields. I really enjoy volunteering and have a wide range of experience, from elementary schools to homeless shelters to hospitals. It has been a pleasure finding different ways to help people, through medicine but also through simple understanding and compassion. Outside of academics and volunteering I play tennis and hike, as well as play acoustic and classical guitar.

Hi Everyone! My name is Abby Weglarz and I am a senior majoring in Integrative Physiology. I will be finishing my degree and graduating in December. In addition to SAPP, I volunteer for SEMS as an EMT-B and for Colorado Friendship, a local non-profit organization that works to distribute food and clothing to those in need. I currently work in the emergency department at North Suburban Medical Center as a scribe. Outside of school and work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, being outdoors and traveling. I applied to PA school over the summer and I am looking forward to helping others who are interested learn more about the profession as well as prepare for the application process. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
