Hello, my name is Anita, and I am working on a major in Integrative Physiology with a Leadership Certificate from the Presidents Leadership Class. I serve on the Integrative Physiology Student Board and am an active member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Honors Pre-Health Fraternity. I have worked on research within the MCDB department at CU, and I have volunteered everywhere from Flatirons Elementary School to Chincha, Peru. I am addicted to travel, and have traveled on four continents and in over fourteen countries, including a summer spent teaching English in China and this past summer spent working in a medical clinic in rural Costa Rica. After graduating, I plan to take a year off to (guess what!) travel before entering medical school. My advice is to view life with a sense of humor and take the risks you’ve always wanted to. In my free time, I love to hike, camp, read, paint, and meet new people, so stop by and say hello! |
