The Student Association for PreHealth Professionals (SAPP) represents a community of students at CU Boulder who
are interested in pursuing health-related careers. An organization
where students interested in all areas of medicine can come
together and learn more about the many professions, receive
academic or personal guidance, and get detailed advice on applying
to graduate schools and medical schools.
What's the catch?
SAPP is open to everyone. We set no requirements for membership
other than a passion for learning and an interest in medicine.
The only catch is that we provide you with the roadmap, it's
up to you to choose how you get there.
Our Goal. Your benefit!
Our goal is simple. We want you to succeed by matriculating
into the graduate school of your choice and becoming a valuable
contributor to your profession and community! SAPP is a community
of students dedicated to this cause. We strive to provide
each member with the set of resources and tools they need
to meet their goals. Some of the many benefits of SAPP are:
- A website full of information to help guide each student
on their way to graduate school.
- A support system of peers who are pursuing similiar goals.
- A network of hospitals and care providers working with
SAPP to bring you Volunteer and Shadow programs.
- Presentations, Forums and Workshops from leaders in the
field.
- A library of publications only available to SAPP members(still
in planning).
- Pre-health Career Counseling.
- Group tutoring and study programs specific to pre-health
majors.
- Information on research and internship opportunities.
