TheatreInfo cannot accept submissions of photos or receive attachments of your fliers, press releases, etc. It just makes too much to open & I never know if the attachments are safe, etc. So please- blurb format ONLY- I will not open attachments and cannot publish your lovely photos.
For Auditions & Employment- I get a lot of replies from actors or techs who read your postings & want to know if your positions are paid & how much, etc. + details on your postings that I cannot answer. Obviously, I refer them back to you, but PLEASE be complete in what you send- it saves us both from the answering of lots of extra questions.
I will keep an eye on dates and stop running what you send when the listing expires. You do not need to send me a notice to remove unless you have something you do not want run before the expiration dates.
You should receive 5 weekly updates every week-
- Education
- Community News/Wanted/For Sale
- Auditions & Employment
- Reviews
- Performances
Please check your spam folders- email & cyber space are their own little world… I send copies of the mails I send you all to myself & half of them end up in my bulk folder & half show up where they are supposed to. Double check that you are getting everything.
Always open to your suggestions & I DO appreciate the love and appreciation some of you send!
Have a great week- get out and see a show!

"I started a monthly newsletter 2 months ago currently titled Audition Tips (may change later). This newsletter does contain workshop promo info, but always has an article with what I beleive to be valuable information for actors regarding auditioning. My subscribers are growing little by little and I have recieved a lot of kudos for the Tips (and no one has requested to be "unsubcribed").
I will be adding a larger section with Tips and Educational information for actors in future publications. I also hope to include tips from other industry folks.
If you like to be included in this FREE monthly newsletter, please reply to the email below.
david@ds-studioworks.com
Support this newsletter and I promise to make it as valuable and informative as I can."

In terms of finding an agent...well, I wish I knew. I'm currently on the hunt myself and there really are no "right" ways to do it. Just be persistent without being annoying and they'll see you eventually (if it's a small enough agency - don't wast your time with the big ones).
