OMF is an organization of anarchists at the University of Colorado. All of us have different ideas. But we all agree that people are individuals and have the freedom and responsibility to live their own lives. There are certain rights that all individuals have, just by the fact of their existence. The primary right that all individuals have is the right of self-ownership. This entails that no person can own another human being. A corollary of this is that all authority is self-derived. Therefore, all other authority is just an illusion.

We believe that while the government may exist, its authority over its subjects does not. We believe that because all people are free, they should live freely. We believe that any voluntary transaction between individuals should be legal. We believe that all violence, that is not is self-defense, is wrong. We believe that any forced transfer of labor or property is the same as slavery. We believe that all people should say and think what they want;so long as they understand that everyone else also has this right.
