Ghalam assaulted by anti-gunner: "Shariar Ghalam, a gun-toting activist, fought a war and smuggled his family from tyranny to freedom. He's seen people hang for their beliefs. He thought he'd seen it all, until last week...."I remember an entire family being machine gunned down because one of Khomeini's good citizens reported them for having military weapons," Ghalam says. "It was a lot like Waco (Texas), only the government didn't bother with spin." Once the guns were gone, oppression and enslavement ensued." "If two Bichon Frise dog owners were protesting to get welfare for crippled pets, it would make the front pages of Commie Daily (Colorado Daily) and the Daily Kaka (Daily Camera)," Ghalam says. more...(scroll down)

"...[I]t's hard to see your photo taken by the government under any excuse. I was born in Iran, so it's all the more scary for me to see these things happening in the U.S."" see Daily Camera article.

GREED, a Video by John Stossel.

Greed explores how the profit motive has spurred civilization’s accomplishments. Stossel provides examples that show in order to get money from people, you generally have to provide value for them in return, thus everybody wins. Stossel interviews profit-motivated people ranging from Ted Turner to small business owners to assembly-line workers and shows how their self-interest becomes society's gain.
Is it nobler to give than to create?
