GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH ON THE HILL
We will be using a St. Thomas Mass format which involves various areas in the sanctuary will be places of prayer & meditation, with candles, icons, beautiful music, time for sharing the Lord's Supper, and a reflection on a Biblical text.
This worship is very accessible for people with little experience of worship, as well as being meaningful for those used to more "traditional forms."
Join us to experience God's peace and renewed hope and joy through scripture, quiet space and resting in God.

THURSDAY NIGHT WORSHIP SERVICE - Beginning September 3, 2009

GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH - DOWNSTAIRS FELLOWSHIP HALL
We will gather around a table for dinner, but also for a time of creative questions, reflection on a Biblical story, and sharing a true "Agape Meal" like in the time of
Jesus where his disciples would share food and conversation.  We will share the Eucharist and enjoy food and a deeper conversation, as well
as providing a light soup supper for all who come.  We may alternate this style of worship with one in the style of the Taize community in
France, which is very meditative, chant like music that contains songs from all over the world.  This service is simple, 30 minutes in length, candelit and we sit on the floor.
