ELCA Campus Ministry is a Lutheran Ministry
on campus, not just a ministry to Lutherans.
Lutheran Campus Ministries at CU-Boulder is an inclusive community
of love and support -- building up one another in faith and reaching
out to others in service. We welcome everyone, at whatever stage
in their faith journey, to explore the faith with us in a spirit
of openness and mutual respect.
PASTORAL CARE & COUNSELING
Our campus pastor is Rev. Laurel Alexander. Her office is
located at Grace Lutheran Church on the Hill at the corner of
13th and Euclid at 1001 13th Street. Come to the East door of
the church and press the "buzzer" or call Pr. Laurel's
office phone 303-786-7137, when you're outside and she'll open
the door. You're welcome to stop by just to say hello, or she
is available anytime for counseling and personal support. It's
best to arrange a time to meet ahead if you can, to make sure
Pr. Laurel's in the office. You can reach her by phone in the
office at 786-7137, or via email at laurel.alexander@gmail.com
COMMUNITY & PEER SUPPORT
Lutheran Campus Ministries at CU-Boulder is a welcoming community
whose members support one another in their faith journeys. Caring,
fun, and fellowship are a part of everything we do together.
Special events include weekly Sunday evening dinners following
worship, movie nights, ski retreats, a fall kick-off picnic,
ethnic dinners, trips to special exhibits, and many more!
Members meet both formally and informally for worship, study,
and fellowship.
Feel supported, accepted, and affirmed for who you are and encouraged
to become all that God intends for you to be. We warmly welcome
persons of every race, gender, and sexual orientation to come
and join our community and fellowship.
We are an inclusive community that welcomes all people, regardless
of their affectional orientation. As such, we are a Reconciling
in Christ congregation and have made a clear affirmation to that
effect.
We welcome and encourage all students from different faith backgrounds
to come and join our community.
