In 2012, the International Festival will celebrate its 23rd year of providing a peaceful, interactive opportunity for the Boulder Campus and the wider community to get acquainted with the various cultures of CU students.

The International Festival is a public, day-long event with free samples of international cuisine, cultural information booths, and live entertainment.

Since the first International Festival took place in 1990, it has steadily grown in popularity every year, and now over 2500 people are expected to attend.

In 2005, the International Festival was awarded the Best Cultural Event of the Year by the Cultural Events Board.
