The Wildlife Projects usually takes a trip to Mission:Wolf in Southern Colorado. Visitors gan get face to face with more than 30 wolves, and meet the dedicated volunteer staff at the sanctuary. We help the staff in their general maintenance of the sanctuary over the course of a weekend. We typically leave Friday afternoon or evening and return Sunday evening.
Wildlands Projects will be taking several day and overnight trips on weekends to do wilderness quality studies. This involves hiking; using a GPS to locate boundaries, natural features, and artificial incursions; taking photos; and writing responses
Every year, 3-6 group members attend the PLEIC confernece in Eugene, Oregon, to get up to date on environmental issues and action around the world.
