We seek to accomplish this by staying informed; actively and creatively increasing awareness on the CU campus; connecting students to opportunities in the field; and raising funds for those fighting slavery on the front lines.

SPRING KICK-OFF MEETING:
MONDAY, JAN. 30TH
Around the world, millions of children,
women and men live as slaves today. Their labor, their bodies and their lives are exploited for the profit of others, in violation of national laws and international treaties that prohibit this extreme human rights abuse.
Today, more people are exploited in slavery than were forcibly removed from Africa during 400 years of the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
Modern-day slaves come from all racial and age groups and toil in a wide variety of industries, many in agriculture or
labor and forced prostitution.
This violent, man-made disaster is an affront to
freedom and dignity everywhere. How will we respond?
