Ben is the founding President of the BMES chapter at the University of Colorado - Boulder. He is a member of the BMES National Student Affairs Committee, where he is responsible for ensuring strong connections between students and industry representatives across the United States. Ben also acts as Chair of the BMES Industry Relations Subcommittee. Lastly, Ben serves on the Colorado Bioscience Association's Education Committee.
Lindsey is the Vice President of the BMES chapter at the University of Colorado - Boulder. Furthermore, she acts as the Regional Student Representative for BMES chapters in the Rocky Mountain region. Lindsey also competes as a varsity track athlete in the Pac-12 conference.
Carly Barnard serves as Chair of the Mentoring Program of the BMES chapter at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is studying mechanical engineering.
Mike is the Business Manager and Practice Administrator of Anchor Physical Therapy Spine & Sports Medicine. His background includes more than 30 years of experience in the corporate business world.
Max is an officer of the BMES chapter at the University of Colorado – Boulder. He is studying electrical and computer engineering and competes on the CU triathlon team.
Mackenzie is an officer of the BMES chapter at the University of Colorado - Boulder. She acts as the Outreach Coordinator and is studying mechanical engineering.
Kevin Lesht is the Digital Media Director for the 2013 Rocky Mountain Medical Technologies Conference. Kevin handles the development and execution of digital strategy and is further responsible for the production of all web based assets.

Dr. Vikas Patel, MD, MA
Dr. Patel serves as the Chief of Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at the University of Colorado. He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and worked as an engineer before earning both a master's of arts and a doctor of medicine degree at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Virginia Ferguson, Ph.D.
Virginia Ferguson is Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado - Boulder and a Clinical Research Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She runs a tissue biomechanics laboratory at the University of Colorado - Boulder.
Mark Borden is an Assistant Professor and Nicholas Rome Faculty Fellow in Mechanical Engineering
at the University of Colorado - Boulder. He is the principal investigator of the Colorado Theranostics Lab at CU-Boulder and has received the NSF CAREER Award and Watson Investigator Award for his work with microbubbles and ultrasound.
