Mackenzie is the President of the BMES chapter at the University of Colorado - Boulder.
She is currently a junior studying mechanical engineering with a minor in biochemistry. She interned at FitBionic in Boulder, CO and is on the Mechanical Engineering Student Affairs Committee.
Emi is the CU BMES Vice President and is in her final semester of a chemical and biological engineering degree at CU.
She has interned at AlloSource in Centennial, CO and is currently doing a senior thesis in the Anseth Research Group.
Patrick is currently in his final semester at CU-Boulder studying mechanical engineering.
He is involved in research in the Biomaterials and Biomimetics Lab at CU Boulder. He is also involved in Teams, which is an engineering educational program for elementary students.
Trent is in his final semester of an electrical and computer engineering degree at CU Boulder.
He is interested in human-computer interfaces and breaking down the barriers between people and technology. He is also leading the CU BMES Design Team, working to create an inexpensive pulse oximeter.
Mark Borden is an Assistant Professor and Nicholas Rome Faculty Fellow in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado - Boulder. He is the principal investigator of the Colorado Theranostics Lab at CU-Boulder and has received the NSF CAREER Award and Watson Investigator Award for his work with microbubbles and ultrasound.
