a. The CU 4 Wheelin' Club has been instated for the purpose of providing a
positive social environment for students interested in four wheel trail exploring.
The club provides ample opportunities to investigate and access
portions of Colorado's wilderness which would otherwise be inaccessible and
unseen to many outdoor enthusiasts. Club activities include four wheeling
trips and educational programs. The trips are day and multi-day excursions over
breaks and weekends. During these trips proper trail conservation, good driving
techniques, and overall personal and vehicle safety are stressed. Members have
the possibility to participate in hiking/ backpacking and any other student-
driven suggestions (ie fishing or rock climbing). Educational programs consist
of mechanical instruction to encourage self maintenance, repair, and
modification to the vehicles involved. Four wheeling is an inherently social
activity and as there is a large demand amongst the community for four wheeling
and related outdoor activities we feel that all benefit from an organization of
the activity especially with university support.
a. Members will include anyone interested that is a full fee paying CU student
or alumni who have graduated from CU.

semester. Members must also attend each mandatory meeting. Mandatory meetings

all un-held chair positions, and may be elected to officially hold those chairs as
well.

for planning and organizing both day trips and multi-day trips. The officer

Trail Boss for each and every trip. That trail boss is to help in planning,
securing directions, maps and all other vital information. If more than one

following way. All members interested in holding the particular office will be
given a chance to give a small speech to the group during the meeting. They

will count the votes. All offices are held for one semester, and there is no
limit to the number of times a person can hold office. Elections will be held

hold office again, they cannot be forced to take it. In other words, only

removed. If an officer is removed, he or she will finish his or her duties for
that meeting and nominations for the open position will begin at the end of the
meeting following standard procedures. Nominations will cease and the election
for the open officer position will occur during the following monthly business
meeting.
a. Any amendments to this constitution must be suggested to a club officer one
week prior to a business meeting, so he or she has time to plan for the vote.
