Is your student organization considering a trip to a conference or competition? If you are using student fees or other state funds to travel, you need to know the following timeline and procedures.

Important Budgeting Note

The amount of money allowed by the state of Colorado for meals is called a meal allowance, or meal allowance. Meal allowances for in-state or out-of-state travel range from $39 per day to $64 per day. The amount is dependent upon a rate assigned to various cities. You must consult with the SOFO before completing funding requests so your budget will accurately reflect these variable rates. Allocation for meals will not be provided from student fee sources.
