Optional Fee Programs
Student organizations are
encouraged to submit a budget request to
the Student Organization Committee (SOC)
early in the spring semester. Students on
the Boulder campus support these groups by
donating $4.95 at the time they register.
Students are then billed for the donation
along with tuition and fees. The SOC may
allocate money to student groups for operating
expenses. Budgets for the 2005-06 fiscal
year are due in early March 2006. Budget
packets are available in the UCSU office
several weeks before the deadline.
SOC accounting must follow the Student Fee Regulations
and SOC guidelines in addition to all policies governing
the use of state funds.
Four students per semester may be authorized to approve
expenditures from a mandatory or optional student fee
account. An individual cannot be an authorized signer
on more than one student fee account at one time.
