Student Portal Project

CUConnect, the University of Colorado at Boulder’s student web portal, is up and running! The student portal project was initiated in the fall of 2002 based upon the campus’ 2002 Information Technology Strategic Plan.

The scope of this project includes informational and business transactions, as well as student programs such as advising, student development activities and instructional support. The project focused on planning and design during the winter of 2002, development during the spring of 2003, prototype testing with students during summer session 2003, and refinement during fall 2003. The production launch of the student portal, CUConnect, began with Residence Hall students on January 21, 2004 with a campus-wide roll out in mid-February.
