Located centrally on campus, Wardenburg Student Health Center is open to all fee-paying students. 

  • Medical Services staff includes doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses and medical assistants specializing in the care of college students. 
  • Women’s Health provides Pap testing, contraception, sexual health education and counseling, sexually transmitted disease/infection testing, and HPV vaccinations.
  • Sports Medicine  treats overuse syndromes, postural imbalances, trauma and athletic injuries with physical therapy, chiropractic care, orthopedic care, massage therapy, and acupuncture.
  • Nutrition Services provides support and services for a variety of nutrition-related concerns including diabetes, disordered eating, food allergies or intolerances, gastrointestinal problems, and more.
  • Psychological Health & Psychiatry staff includes social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, and nurses. Services include individual, couples, and group therapy; ADHD and learning disability testing; psychiatric evaluation and medication management; and evaluation and treatment of eating disorders and substance abuse.
  • The full-service Pharmacy accepts most nationwide prescription drug insurance plans and also carries a complete selection of vitamins, herbals, and over-the-counter medications.
  • Lab & X-Ray are available on-site.

Student Health Insurance

CU-Boulder requires all students to carry health insurance. Students must select or waive the university insurance by the semester deadline or they will be automatically enrolled in the Student Gold Health Insurance Plan.

Health Education

Community Health provides a variety of resources, consultations, training and education on the most pertinent college health issues including sexual health, stress, sleep, alcohol and other drugs, and staying healthy.
